I was just on loft for words and this list was mentioned as out of contract, if my maths is correct, if we assume they are on 10k per week, it looks like nearly 7m minimum per year.

10 k a year!! people like vine halll willl be close to 35 k per week each, but your point correct a lot of money tied up here, i thonnk you should prob double that figure, also isnt daves contract up aswel, i remember he signed a 4,5 yr deal must be close to the end of it

My maths is not good enough, but can someone work out for me if all those are on an average of £10,000 a week and there are 12 of them (I don't include Helguson as he is not deadwood). What does that work out in salary over the year, bearing in mind that hardly any of them are liable to earn us a single point? All I know is the figure will be horrific.

14 x £10k = 140k per week x52 = 8,2 mill per year

I know the figure is a lot higher, it's probabally more lilk 20-25m per year, and by the time we have finished with the free transfers this window, I would expect that figure to touch between 35-40m.

I like any other fan want to see the best down at the bush, but just imagine we had signed all the big names we all wanted, even crap Carlton Cole wants 2m+ per year, and if the rumours are true, Vine isn't far off that.

If we get the Balance right over the next few years, the club could be in a great position and the otherwise around WILL implode!

Let's do what we always have, find cheap players, develop them, sell when the time is right then, repeat.
