The question of Mittal underwriting wages is interesting;surely the board would have a yea or nay regarding transactions involving player contracts?
We are led to believe that there is a standoff at boardroom level and in the midst of this Mittal somehow manages to put up a white flag while saying that he will guarantee a player's wages;can't see that happening in the real world.
