Anyone see yesterday how when they were discussing Webber Warnock joked how he will fit our wage structure?

Loved the way he said it but many true words spoken and all that.....

Anyone who thinks we will sign a HAPPY Bothroyd is mad. IF he signs, and this I doubt, it'll be on a compromised wage. Chances are he'll sign if he gets nothing else but won't be happy on much less than he wanted

Warnock also stated in the SSN interview that we have a wage structure. IF he signs don't you think he realises he wont get away with any ******** with warnock! He has the ability & without the sulks/moods etc COULD be an awesome player & free

If he thinks he's worth say £ 50 k but the rest of the football world value him at £ 25 - 30 k then that's all he's ever going to get ....Whether it's us or barcelona paying it !!!

I'd like to think my house is worth £ 1 m .... but its only worth what the housing market values it at and what someone else is prepared to pay for it !!!...

Football is exactly the same ( unless you're a Messi , Ronaldo , Rooney etc) where a bidding war ensues to get the VERY VERY BEST .

diddums - footballer doesn't get quite as many thousands a week as you suggest he wanted. don't think too many will lose sleep over that, what with millions starving to death in africa at the moment etc I think Bothroyd wd have to join a fairly long line in the sympathy queue.

Why can't some people ever be happy / satisfied ? if we get Bothroyd i think we have an excellent player who will flourish under Neil's guidance.
Why do some always have to look for a negative or an angle to moan.
If Bothroyd signs for us it is because he wants to and he will know that it is the best deal available to him, so surely this would make him happy.
or like me is that a bit simple ?
