    Jason Puncheon.....

    According to The Sun:

"Millwall have joined QPR and Birmingham in the race to sign Southampton winger Jason Puncheon."

Is he a better option than Routledge ? Scored three goals in PL for Blackpool in half a season.

Prefer Routs but guess he is just too expensive for us.

If Routs is too expensive (what a joke) then my choice of Max Gradel is completely out of the question. He would be the icing on the top if we get DJ and JB.

Ex Wycombe Matt Phillips of Blackpool is another.Young, effective 6'1" winger.

Must admit I have always preffered matt phililips when I have seen him.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I've still got a soft spot for Ishmael Miller, and couldn't understand why NW didn't play him more often.Probably more than meets the eye and a bit of a sicknote? His sheer size and pace made him very watchable.

As I've said before I'm working at the Southampton club shop whilst I'm at uni, so I got to see him play loads at the beginning of last season. He was useless in league 1. The saints fans were booing him when he got the ball because he usually just ran into trouble or took on a pointless effort at a shot from 35 yards that went into row Z over by the corner flag. Then somehow he gets loaned out to Millwall, scores a few goals and does ok at Blackpool too. Despite this the Saints fans really don't want him back. From what I hear he's got a bit of an attitude problem. The moment he got his loan deal to Millwall he was spotted around the town in Southampton wearing a Millwall shirt.

I think perhaps he is more suited to the Championship than league 1, but I really don't think he's worth our time in the prem, and definitely not a better selection over Routledge!

Gradel and/or Matt Phillips would be great.

I saw that he was unwanted by Saints and the price would be around 450.000£ and he has proven that he can score in Prem which Routs never have been able to. I know that many of you want Routs, but he seems to be a Championship player - sorry.
