He was so clearly not 100% fit. Was carrying an injury when he joined, and that was well publicised too. Also wasn't match fit and I understand didn't have a proper pre-season either.

I honestly believe if he is fit and can get a proper pre-season in his legs, he can do a job for us.

His career has shown enough to suggest that he deserves a little more rerspect than the dogs abuse flying in his direction.

He has made my life a misery, i was on the verge of a nervous breakdown every time he took to the field last season, and now you're about to push me over the edge at the thought of him playing for us in the Prem.

We once wrote off Helguson, but he turned good. From time to time excellent players have a bad season for one or another reason. I admit I would be very surprised to see Hulse succeed in the Premier League, but who knows?

My guess is that one or two of following players will really surprise us in the coming season: Hulse, Vaagan Moen, Hogan, Hall, Ramage, Conolly, Orr, Rowlands, Cook, Hewitt, Agyemang. I think few of us consider any of them Premier League standard, but our view will probably have changed come 2012 for one or two of them.

Hulse will be a good squad player this season. If we start the season behind everyone in the squad they could all make an impact. Confidence is the key and support will make a difference. Get behind the players and you may change your opinions.

My point about is, when Hulse signed we was all buzzing, I still think he is a great striker and is 100% worth having in the squad!! He didnt do great last year, but didnt have the rub of the green or a great run in the squad!!

Obviously.. Nothing has been made official...

However

With, Helguson, Hulse, DJ and Bothroyd..

We have a much better outlook, looks great!!

I was never buzzing about hulse and when he signed from a struggling Derby side it was a bit obvious he was , not 'getting the rub of the green' for some time.

Still bothroyd and DJ would be a quality pair
