That was when he was a CCC player and we were looking to sign him in that league - he has since moved on and played a season in the EPL for Blackpool who got relegated and had one of the weakest PL squads ever!! They got relegated despite his goals = not his fault.

He has shown he has what it takes to score goals in this league and the past is irrelevant in terms of us looking to bring him into a CCC team.

good forwards to sign, but take away adel and routledge you lose the ability to provide chances for these strikers.

that said if we get both of them, can see us playing 4-4-2. which means we need proper wingers. mackie and smith are not proper wingers.

1.5m is his release clause, wages have been a problem with every possible signing of ours so not getting excited yet...

Went to Villa, then ended up at Yeading.

Fair play, has sorted himself right out.

Nice to see golden balls back at rangers.
Know Dudley personally from his time @ chesham utd when my old man was 1st physio there, good lad, played some of his best football under Johnson hippolyte In the reserves then @ Yeading.

He had a 3 day trial @ villa and only turned up for 2 of the 3 days, big pals with ex chesham team mate Fitz hall, hope one size has convinced him to sign!

Rangers close on Bothroyd and Campbell
Bothroyd: Free agent striker could be close to QPR switch
....Skysports.com understands Queens Park Rangers are hopeful of sealing a double deal for DJ Campbell and Jay Bothroyd.

The Rs made their initial approach for free agent Bothroyd earlier in the summer - as revealed by skysports.com, and they are now hopeful they will win the race for his signature.

The England international has a number of offers on the table, but is now close to finalising a move to Loftus Road.

And the West London are hopeful they will be bolstering their attack with a second signing, with Campbell also arriving.

QPR made their first bid for Campbell two weeks ago, as revealed by skysports.com, and they are now believed to have agreed terms with Blackpool.

Campbell is now set for talks with Rangers, who are hopeful of finalising a deal.

                            .
