Sorry for not having phd in ron football manager speak - thread clearly started off stating he had signed, then it quickly became clubs agree terms. But as we all knew he had a release clause anyway and we were suppose to have been after him for weeks I was simply posing the question "does this take us any further?" as even a week or so ago Pete was saying Sunderland were more likely to pay him the wages he seeks.
