Posted on: Mon 11 Jul 2011

Free agent Danny Webber is training with the Club following his release from Portsmouth at the end of last season.

The striker, who played under Neil Warnock during his Sheffield United days, has scored 45 league goals in 142 starts during his professional career.

facto why the name change? Has that bint changed u?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I think this is the officals way of keeping us happy with a lack of signings. And also I bet it's just training, no more
                Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                And many more mistakes

I can see these words being included in the press release when we sign him. Warnock believes Webber has a "lot of ability" and that he is a "gamble worth taking"........

Oh dear me...this isn't scraping the bottom of the barrel. This is picking up the barrel and digging in the ground under it.

Why did they bother to officially announce this? To cheer us all up?

                            I dont think its working.

Maybe they are announcing that he is training (key word) with us so as everyone doesn't cut their wrists thinking he's actually signed for us. All it takes is someone to see him at the training ground, then post on here...cue dispair.

Calm the f**k down, girls and boys.
                              Your mum would love me...
