Not at the top of my list of strikers, but i guess when you have missed out on your top three, Graham, CMS & Campbell, I guess you have to work down a list of what strikers are available, so it was only a matter of time until we got to him. The £6M price tag would suggest he is going to Stoke though.

Carlton Cole would be a quality signing providing Neil Warnock is in charge.
He had a bad season under Avram Grant but then so did the rest of the West Ham squad ( parker aside ). I mean let's be honest would Avram Grant be able to inspire you to do your job right. (nothing to do with yeah but they earn 1,000's all things are relative - yes they should do their jobs but Avram ? )
If true i'd be well pleased.

Ok then, I'll drop the "smart ####" stuff(!): In this case - Neil Warnock.

Carlton Cole is hardly Pellicori.
That signing clearly had the fragrant whiff of Flav.
