Can't see how I'm behaving like a kid purely by posting a thread about a player that we've been linked with a few times over the past 12 months or so and by him signing a new 3 year agreement makes him a lot more valuable in the transfer market from Reading's point of view,than say a fee based the remainder of his previous contract.By you putting "every time something like this happens" suggests I'm a habitual whinger.Oh to be so perfect Benny eh?

My point is, you go on like we've missed out, everytime someone goes to another club, or signs an extension. You're meant to be around 60-odd, mate, so in your time on this earth, surely even you know that we can't sign everyone we've been linked with?

No,but it would be nice to sign SOMEONE other than a third choice GK from Ipswich particularly given the 75% price hike in my ST. But what do I know,I thought Scewfix was a dating agency and was disappointed when their catalogue arrived.
