I work for a Ltd company and I can see what my company earner is pulling in.
Funny how you wasn't bothered that everyone knew Vine's wages.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I agreeOriginally posted by Captain Planet View PostI agree with Nodge that the info should be removed. If people want to discuss it once he's officially signed then fine, but let's not throw a spanner in the works before then.Opinions are like A******s, everyone has one, but nobody wants to see the other guy's.

That's why I didn't post it. Not the thing to do really.Originally posted by Captain Planet View PostI agree with Nodge that the info should be removed. If people want to discuss it once he's officially signed then fine, but let's not throw a spanner in the works before then.
25k a week is a good wage cap, blows the £15k rumour out of the water.

Representation, negotiation etc....depends on the relationship the player has with the agent. Can be anything from supplying translation services and dealing with HMRC, DVLA etc (all the usual sh1t you and I have to do in our normal lives), legal representation to arranging cars, holidays, house moves etc etc...The licensed agents exam now with the FA is pretty strict; over 65% of applicants fail the exam each sitting. Can't overstate the legal side of it enough. Once you're in though, it's money for old rope in my personal opinion. If you're lucky enough in looking after a player in demand from a number of clubs, inelastic goods in effect, and you drive the price (and your end) higher and higher. Like a Caxton money printing press. Other end of the scale, League 1&2, agents work their nuts off for limited reward...Originally posted by UpperP View PostFAO Nodge
You seem well up in these matters can you explain what the agent does to earn 130 large a year from one client
Since the Bosman ruling has come in, it's more incumbent on the agent to find the very best deal for his client, so obviously earns a cut. The age old argument is why the club pay the agent directly when it's arguable that it comse out of the players end.Last edited by Guest; 07-07-2011, 03:03 PM.

So he is going to quit as a footballer then ? as if he dont sign for QPR, he will sign for someone who pays more.Originally posted by SirLes View PostWell, he will never sign now. Would you if the whole world, including your teams mates and thousands or blood thirsty football supporters, new all your salary details?
