If Norwich signed him, and we weren't linked with him, I am 100% sure people would be moaning saying that we should have been in for him. Just because he's 32 doesn't mean he is a bad player.

Lots of European players will trial in a game first, not an unusual thing at all, he's a international so you would think he'd be quite a tidy player.

Disagree, you don't need a trial if you are a good player because your reputation goes before you.

What we need, to help us consolidate in the premiership next season, is proven premiership quality players, perhaps taking on a Danny Graham, or a Jay Bothroyd, to satisfy the urge to take a chance on somebody.
What we don't need right now, are players approaching the twilight of their careers, and who by and large, have as much experience of playing at a level quite as high as the premiership, as I do.

In this transfer window, more so than maybe January, Queen's Park Rangers need to get this spot on, or we could find ourselves well and truly ****ed before the Christmas pudding has been digested.

True if your a real top end player, this player apparently has not signed a new contract at his club so is on a free. i would very much doubt to many would be familiar with this R/B, and would only have dvds to watch ,which can be misleading. Hence the trial, see things with your own eyes, state again he is a international player, you would hope he is of a decent standard.
