    Hearing some positive news ish

Want to be very careful but am being told the reason that no players have arrived yet is due to the club not realising how much promotion would cost.
They have paid out 6m in backdated players and staff and 3m to clubs we've bought and loaned with promotion bonuses and on top off that huge legal bill and Fa fine and other bit and pieces have cost the club over 12m
Was told the reason that cms, routledge and Graham never signed cos there was no spare money in the budget.
But on a positive note told warnock is still in charge and working with the board to bring players in

That actually sound very feasible -- that fine and legal costs would have been best part of 2 million pounds for a start -- and I wonder how many players has promotion bonuses for previous clubs lodged away in their contracts somewhere.

So that means frees and loans if we can offload some players and free upwages.

How could they not know what promotion would cost? These guys are business men worth billions of quid between them and they ain't smart enough to check the small print on the players contracts?!!!

Not doubting you or your source Moon but this sounds like more bullsh*t to me.

Flavio and Bernie need to get with the program and realise that they need to dig deep if we are to retain Premiership status......either that or they need to go now and allow someone who knows what they're doing to take over!

No money left after those payments still means no budget for players.

Until i see we have signed someone i am not going to get my hopes up, but i love the rumors anyway

              Hang on.

We didn't know what the value of the clauses were in our own plsyers contracts?

If true that is utterly shambolic.

Perhaps T&C ought to be careful who they delegate to in future...

Not doubting your sauces, but surely it can be offset with the money that you get in the Premiership itself?

These 3 guys are loaded and even if it means they get back it at a later date, Warnock does need these players.

I know we will not set the world alight with buys, but they need to be together all pre-season to at least give us any kind of chance of staying in the Prem

If they didn't know what promotion would cost, they're not as smart as we give them credit for. After all we were top of the championship for all but two weeks of last season. It's not like they had no warning of us being promoted.

So for instance my source is right.
                          Prem worth 36m
                          Shelled out 12m already
Sign some new player ground improvements
                          Wages for players a staff
                          How much left.......
                          Not a lot
I predict when accounts are published from the season we do not make a profit

And that's why this sounds like a crock of crap.

Even Mr P couldn't this screw up.

I dont know where these rumours come from.

We are a ****ing shambles. It's not rocket science calculating profit and loss, income versus outgoing, preparing budgets etc...
