The problem with the "week" that Pete keeps talking about is that it keeps moving further and further away. (See above).
And instead of holding his hands up, showing a bit of humility and admitting he got it wrong, he'll just keep moving the week until he gets it right and then say "I told you so."

Yes he did.
And had no injury issues in that time. Played every game.
There seems to be this myth that his "knees are shot".
Yes, he had a bad injury, but has recovered.Comment

Only an issue if Taarabt stays. And does anyone honestly see that happening now?
I don't.
4-2-3-1.
Option of playing a 4-4-2 at times is also easier without Taarabt.
That's assuming we actually bring in a striker or two(!)Comment

Wrong...........one of his knees is shot to pieces, he will never pass a medical and he is 1 more knee injury away from retirement. Just ask Hull City, signed for them for 5m, half hour into his first game his knee went again and that was that. Been costing the club millions ever since!
Not doubting he's a quality player, just a massive risk as he will sign on big wages and has the potential to disappear onto the injury table for a long stint at any moment!Comment

I hope he has added that last part of physical strenght and speed to his play which he obviously lacked last season?
