I think you get 3 points for spam.I am happy, healthy and 100% comfortable with what is going on at W12 at the moment, because I have said this would happen as it was predictable. To make you happy, tell me a couple a factual things that are positive about W12 at the moment and I will spam every thread with those happy positive things.

What is going on?
We are a total and utter joke.
This bloke has won us promotion in one season. Should have a statue put up instead we have to issue statements like this......
What can we do to get rid of these owners??? It is a complete shambles of a club.

No they don't. They can ignore it. If all football clubs did was to put out official statements around every piece of rumour and conjecture in the public domain, they'd never have time to do anything else. It wasn't a story in the mainstream media until the denial was issued.
What did Sir Humphrey said in Yes Minister? Something along the lines of....
"Never believe anything unless you've seen the official denial".
There's an argument that this then becomes a self fulfilling prophecy or the club felt that the allegations and rumour had enough substance or momentum that they took the pretty unique step of issuing an official denial to kill it in the bud. Six of one, half dozen of the other.Last edited by Guest; 30-06-2011, 03:09 PM.Comment

normally the club would never have responded , how many times over the years have we all argued that " we wish they would make a statement" , before the announcement various posts on here saying "is this true, is the club going to make a statment" etc etc i just think th emood of fans over last month made them believe they needed to do it as you say 6 of one, just dont htink the club can win at the moment with anything they doNo they don't. They can ignore it. If all football clubs did was to put out official statements around every piece of rumour and conjecture in the public domain, they'd never have time to do anything else.
