players at qpr are on money like that. my mate is good friends with rowlands and when he sign his contract 2 years ago(15k a week) he had a clause in his contract that if we got in the prem his wages would double and he is now on 30k a week. patrick agg was on 18.5k a week and i think his has double now too

I agree with Benny & Pete.
Anyone would do the same in the same position.

Admittedly he's lost my respect more for getting unfit and not wanting to get back into the squad/team, but regards what we're paying him, the blame for that lies firmly with who gave him the contract to sign, 3 years ago.
I suspect he's not alone, Hall, Dave and others will be similar and if all 3 plus some of Rowly, Borrowdale, Alberti, Pellicori, Clarke, Hulse were offloaded, signing the likes of Graham, Bothroyd, Campbell, Naughton and even Cole (J) would not be hampered by wages.

When we signed him, he was probably our best player. Very intelligent footballer who was worth a decent wage. He got injured, and has acted a c**t since, but he's within his right to see out his contract. It's what they're there for.

Vine is one of the biggest w@nkers off the pitch these days ever to wear a QPR shirt but yeah, benny is spot on. As much as i wish we could just rip his contract up well, being a twunt isnt a sackable offence. And, yeah, if i was in his position (and not a QPR fan like i am) i'd milk it too.
