Steven Caulker is better than all our centre backs.
15 years in the wilderness will be a distant memory come Sunday 8th May 2011.

Defoe - zero truth he's talking to Arsenal. He's under contract, Spurs will not deal with Arsenal.
Kane looks very small so why do u use the term beast?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Not the best description. Probably associate "beast" with fat Cardiff and Stoke strikers! Think more like Michael Owen, almighty pace from a standing start, agile, low centre of gravity - think Gallen as a 19 year old...strength belying his years...

Nodge - Sure I've heard mention of Caulker possibly going out on loan to clubs outside the Prem? Most of it paper talk or pure gossip.
Talking to "expert's" that have watched him closely, I am led to believe he would be a very decent addition to any EPL squad outside the big elite - is that how you see him too?

          Cheers

Caulker is a cracking young centre half.

. The lad lives near me and I'm good friends with his "gym buddy" and he seems to think it s matter of "who to" rather than "if" hes going to go this summer. Very good attitude, dedicated youngster that I think would be a great addition to our squad. On less than 10k a week atm so shouldnt have any trouble wage wise meeting his (or rather his agents) demands.

Swansea looking at taking Caulker. We need to get in there IMO!

Bassong still at Spurs. Won't be moved on (though PSG want him and Kaboul) until Spurs sign a couple more CB's.

Irrespective of current circumstances, we would be a better option for him than Swansea and I'm sure this could be a mutually rewarding loan deal

if spurs signed a cb would a bassong deal be possible for us?!

I've been very impressed every time I've seen Caulker. He has all the attributes to be a top pl center half, he has strength, pace, height, speed and can pick out a pass. I rate Kane highly, he can play up front or behind a striker and if he reaches his potential what a player he will be.

Was loaned out to Charlton back end of last season. Did well. Still making progress, still rated. Possibly see a little bit of first team action this season in the Europa League.

i personally think that if he had stayed he would be a first team regular by now.
