Let´s see if he´s playing for the Gunners next season...maybe together with Sol.Erm.. They were;
Arsene Wenger has not ruled out the possibility of a short-term deal for the former Arsenal defender Matthew Upson.

Are you now saying Latvia are on a level par with England? They are as close to us as we are to Spain.Upsons ability is, and has always been, limited. The last couple of years Upson has been sh_te. Arsenal interest - maybe they were, maybe they weren´t, but they were also rumours about Sol C...so... Gorkss has played 35 times for Latvia, Upson 21 for England. No brainer for u. Ok, thank god you´re not in charge.Your mum would love me...Comment

Mellowhoop has seen Upson 0 games last season. How many did u attend/watch on telly?Sorry...Are we seriously comparing Gorkss to Upson here?
It's like saying Hulse is a better option than Carlton Cole. Ok, Upson (like Cole) isn't the best Prem player in his position, but he's clearly better than any player we have for that role. That much is a fact.
Upson has 21 England caps, rightly or wrongly, and over 200 games experience in the Premier League, winning one league trophy along the way.
Gorkss has spent his career to date playing in Latvia, Sweden and the second tier of English football.
How is this even a topic of conversation?Comment

No, but he has played against many of the players that Upson been up against - and often getting good reviews. What about Upson when he has been playing for England?Comment

I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!Comment
