i don't think they are surprised at all, i think they have purposely priced out the average fan, doesn't go with the boutique style they are trying to create.
Also they came out with the crap about FB taking a back seat, they lie to cover their arses, so i don't honestly think they care a jot.Comment

I don't think they care at all to be honest.
Unfortunately we have a small stadium, the advantage for the owners is they know they can fill it.
The only thing I find difficult to comprehend is saying we would be happier in League 1, we wouldn't. We fans insulting Ollie for example and it was **** going to places like Chesterfield.
We can rightly blame the owners for taking away the "family aspect", but the truth is SKY took that away years ago when doing a great job to hype up the Premier League around the worldALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Agree with that. I remember it and I'm not one to sentimentalise the "bucket" period. My frustration with these owners is they have actually done a lot of the hard graft, albeit with mistakes along the way. They could even have hiked ticket prices but done something to reward loyal fans. And the majority of fans are fairly realistic - they don't expect Ronaldo, but say £15m on transfers - not wages - delivered to the manager in time not to miss out on targets, keeping him sweet and I think most fans would have been happy.Comment

You just don't get it, do you? I, and many others, WOULD prefer it in League One as opposed to a club now alien to me being in the Premier League and me not being able to afford to go nor take my son along with me. I'd think that unless that changes, another potential lifelong R, as I am, will probably not end up committing to the club. At least I could both obtain and afford a ticket to Chesterfield
On that one we fully agree. We're coming into a league where we are (apparently) capping paying wages of around £1m per year (£20k a week) and there are players we will be facing earning TEN TIMES AS MUCH. Sky have brainwashed many into thinking Football is better now; whilst it is for those mainstays of the Premier League, the other twelve or thirteen clubs know they are absolutely fooked if they go down and don't come back up within a couple of seasons.
Just watch, Bolton, Stoke or even Wigan will soon see that they're time is up and, as established Prem clubs, I doubt they will be capping wages at £20k - just how well could they afford a dip in division? In Wigan's case, when Uncle Dave finally gives up the reigns, they're even more shot...
Football is now a procession; we know that the top four will come from five or maybe six teams and the rest of us has no chance. Just eighteen or nineteen years ago, QPR, yes, little QPR, were just two players away from being serious title contenders. We're probably 25 players away from that now...:angry:Comment
