In the 70s and 80s I use to have one of thse synthetic silk scarves but my biggest crime was tying a scarve around each wrist

When I was younger I had a thing for always showing my colours so in winter I'd be wearing a long sleeved top with a massive thick jumper or hoody and would just about squeeze my Rs top over the top.

No where near as bad as you with ya man scarves though

If I look really carefully I can just make out the groove on my wrist where my scarf was tied, to this day it doesnt go as dark in the summer

of course they were only truly sylish if they had the tassles on!

Seem to remember doing the same with a silk scarf bought from Wembley Market in the 70's. Probably the one bit of memorabilia I wish I still had...[although not round my wrist!]
