Realistically, if he goes it shows the total and utter lack of ambition that this board display.

Now he is not great, but he is probably our 2nd most dangerous player behind Taraabt. I don't know the stats but goals/assists per game he is well up there.

I know it is still pretty early but one thing is blatantly obvious we will not be signing any decent players. If we cannot afford WR wages then the self imposed wage structure will ensure that we will be back in Championship next season without fail.

We'll be going down with or without him. I'd rather Hogan and Mackie than Wayne 'I can't forge a career at any club coz I'm basically ****' Routledge.

Hogan is dire and should be in league 1 and Mackie is a trier with a poor touch. Routledge is far better than both and yet he is still at best a very average Premiership player.

Unfortunately I cannot honestly say any of our squad are good enough for the Premiership, I think Adel is one of the most talented players we have ever had, but I think he will be found out in the Premiership as the game is much quicker and we will not be able to afford a passenger who doesn't defend. Imagine Ashley Cole or Evra marking him with Ashley Young in front of him against Clint Hill or Bradley Orr.....mmmm Don't worry though we've got Ramage.....

Is this the same super Routledge whos flopped in PL with Newcastle,Villa,Fulham and Spurs. Decent championship player (on his day) but i certainly wont be losing any sleep over not signing him.

yer but compared to what we have he is one of our best players!
we have nearly a whole team of championship players with Adel, Faurlin and Kenny anywhere near prem quality.

There is still hope if he doesn't signs. He did make a difference last season but various acquaintances who follow other prem clubs assure me that he was always pony when they saw him play. "Promised much... delivered very little" seems to be the general summary.

Spot on. I can't believe peoples attitudes regarding wr. All of a sudden he is a championship player who is pants. Reality is tarbs, kenny and possibly faurlin could make the step up and I would add routs. How the hell blackmafia can say he isn't bothered because we have hogan and mackie wtf is that all about, and if he isn't joking then I don't think a 2 pts infraction would be a bad thing and I'd never wish anyone pts but after that comment it is well deserved
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I think routledge done well for palace in the prem, I think he is much better than Mcnuff younger too.

I expect us to sign him

as things stand, we have a weaker side than last year. I know we wont the league, but this team as it stands will get humiliated in the premiership. I pray we start to sign players soon, otherwise its such a waste - we have waited so long
