No BS - and from pretty much the horses mouth - DG was always going to go to Swansea in the event of promotion (and I posted this on WATRB before the Play Off Final). Rodgers had the deal tied up in principle with Watford in April. If anything, we were the fly in THEIR ointment as all we did was jack up the price Swansea had to pay.

In terms of takeover, discussions did take place. All I can say.

Well that contradicts nearly everything said so far and Nodge does have an excellent record at knowing whats happening.

Well. That's probably the most realistic scenario yet.

I also think that many are underestimating how many of our current squad, as a team, could do in the premiership. We were a very potent side last year. Particularly when we had Walker. I bet my left nut that we would have matched or beaten the likes of Wigan, Wolves, Birmingham, Blackpool, Foolham et al .

Don't get me wrong - I'd love us to sign a good few premier names. But maybe a decent striker and a couple of decent defenders is all we really need for the moment?

Boywer Carew Woodgate Bothroyd Bullard on frees, Couple of decent loans mainly LB & signing Bogherra Naughton DJ Campbell, all could be got within that 6 million budget, be better than we have right now & we might have a chance of staying up

Maybe, I think if we buy well then we will do ok! At the end of the day, if we stay up the price of the club gets higher. Surely that's am incentive for flav and bernie!?
