No probs with Torres, he can't score anyway.

IMO, Both players are better than Ian Evatt as he aint not superstar, but he done OK last season and got a couple of MOTM's.

Fair point but then Blackpool did concede a shed load of goals. The only reason they gave themselves a fighting chance was because they attacked and scored plenty of goals, something we didnt do even though we won the league

Why are we worrying about them? we wont be challenging the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal and Chelsea anyway. We need to compare ourselves and how we can handle the likes of Blackburn, Wigan, Wolves, Norwich etc and, IMO, Gorkss and Connolly (with a decent LB and RB, hopefully including Naughton!) arent going to have too many problems with Benjani, N'Zonzi, Victor Moses, Di Santo, Ebanks Blake, Fletcher and Morison. Just mho.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Exactly right, you cant compare the best strike forces in the prem, think of Wigan or Blackburn or Wolves they will be in and around us.

Centre of defence isn't quite such an issue with me as full backs and strikers, though even the teams you mention mean facing Santa Cruz, N'Zogbia, Doyle etc - and those are the "easy" matches.

Agreed 100%, id be happy with the centre back parring of Hall and Connolly but we desperately need full backs, with pace, right and left.
