I used to follow England away as you know Isleworth, but 14p would be to much for me to pay to watch those useless tw@ts nowadays!

Point taken mate but as you surely remember the actual game was always the low point of the trips

That's true. Even lower point than being ambushed by Russian skinheads or treated like a dog by local OB!

We stayed in a place called the Cosmos Hotel which had 24hr bars, restaurants, hookers, casino`s and anything else you wanted day or night and I think it had about 2000 rooms so you can imagine the amount of England fans staying there but that did not stop the Russians storming the front doors non stop for hours after the game and eventually the military turned up and parked a tank outside (honestly)

If you think you have seen some toe to toe fighting on a massive scale over here then that's nothing to what went on over there

Well I am Bulgarian (I am British too...)

So, use EasyJet or BA, or Bulgaria Air or WizzAir for return flight around 100-150 GBP. From Sofia Airport with a taxi is around 10 GBP (£ 15-20 max) to the stadium. You can buy beer in the pubs for £ 1.50 or from any food and drink shop for less £. If I remember well 1.5 L beer costs around £1 in the shops. There are cheap hotels there as many as you like. Just search on internet - the prices start from 30 GBP per night...

Only 1 advice: Don`t provoke the local fans or you`ll be heavily involved in a mass-brawl and is more likely to lose! ;)

Makes me want to start going again. The sound of police dogs, smashing glass, smell of blow, pros. Happy days.
