Warnock wanted Graham he has virtually said that himself so fact of the matter is we missed out on him, and from the sounds of things it was down to our owners messing around that scuppered the deal.
As for Warnock being this wily old fox waiting for the right player, dont tell me he wouldnt of wanted to have brought in 3 or 4 players already, therefore they would have time to settle in their surroundings,sort out housing, schools for kids etc (if that was necessary of course).
But the hope im holding onto is that we dont get told f all by the club anyway so maybe we are down the line with new players signing on.

Understand what your saying but look at it from another angle,he may have 3 or 4 lined up when there contracts run out at the end of June,the school term has not finished yet so when it does players will move into new area's/Houses,kids go into new schools in September.It all stacks up to a busy 1st 2 weeks of July in my opinion.

Correct,if we put out who we are after other clubs get interested and try and hi jack the deal and start putting the players mind in doubt.If you look back over many years we have never been a club to do this its only the press that speculate to whom we want to sign,Be patient all will come good.

i agree ref hulse we all thought a top signing, fk me he looked the best player on pitch everytime he played against us.

ref signings my only suprise is that they havent done it before the renewal date, a signing to get the juices flowing and the tickets renewed
i do understand why the club want to keep things quiet its not clever to announce what you want, what has made us more anxious is all the papers constantly linking us with everyone who plays used to play or may play if they fancy it, footballer out there

no way will we not make the additions jst a matter of time and to be fair if pllayers want ridiculos contracts we should be telling them where to go, come to the end of july footballers demands willl drop if it looks like they go t nowhere to go (obv assming that any left)
