    Nugent

Sounds like agents trying to stoke up interest but have always really rated him. Available on a free too. Not saying he would be the solution on his own but a class apart from Hulse etc.

Several Premier League and Championship sides are vying for the signature of former Portsmouth striker David Nugent, according to reports.

Nugent is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Portsmouth and his availability has alerted a number of clubs.

The former Preston man netted 14 goals last season and a number of sides are thought to have registered their interest.

Queens Park Rangers and Swansea could make moves as they look to bolster their attacking options, while Leicester and Ipswich have been credited with an interest in the England international.

The one-cap England international is set to return from holiday next week and will weigh up his options before making a decision on where he to continue his career

Another second rate player who did not make the grade - what we need is some quality not all these "worth a punt" players.

cannot believe the usual "not good enough" type of comments.
Nugent is exactly the type of player would should be after.

Yep because only a player who has been capped at least 30 times for England would be good enough for QPR, what with talent like Hulse to dislodge from the team....
