One of the best players i have seen play for us and i have been going since i was 12. Got kicked from pillar to post but just got up, dusted himself off and cracked on.

Also what i liked about him was there was no poncy step overs and trying to completely mug a defender off by beating him once then coming back and beating him again, he would just get the ball, knock it past the full back and deliver a goalscoring opportunity.

Gutted when he left and resented him a bit for it but still have fond memories of him.

Spot on Lone and even better considering the whacks he got every game. Could you imagine players like C Ronaldo, Drogba and Torres playing the amount of games Sinton did after the treatment he got?

Scored a hat-trick in one of my favourite ever games (4-2 home to Everton).

Great player who should have got far more caps than he did.

Remember being right behind the goal in the loft think we were 3 - 2 down and he took a right dive in the penalty box and got the pen. I remember thinking he looked a bit guilty as he tucked the ball away for 3-3. Think it was 'boro.

                          Always thought he was quality.
