Warnock the type of bloke who won't be held to ransom when it comes to wages , he said that at the beginning of last season and he was shocked what vine and ageymang were earning . If Bothroyd ask for silly wages I can see Warnock saying TA TA no thanks .

I wouldn't say it was that low of standard , there teams in the 2nd division or the same standard as low championship clubs . The blokes scored 120 goals in 250 games that's not bad . I would rather take a gamble on this bloke for 3million and get Bothroyd on a free , then pay 4m for CMS who scored goals just in League 1 !!

Javi Guerra also scored 53 in 97 for Valencia B and we must recognise that Spain produces some wonderful talent,are the current World Champions and will walk the Under 21 competion thats being played at present.So you never know,Guerra might be worth a punt.

I like the sound of this target, (if true) it shows that we are trying.. just because he didnt play for Valencia A he is no good? and yet danny graham who played for Watford is? on this board it seems unless a foreigner is playing for barca or real madrid he will be a bad signing.... well the point to realise is that warnock wont sign him unless he brings him over for a couple of practice games he wont buy another bad striker

If he was playing for Valencia first team, QPR wouldn't be linked. Just because he isn't playing for Valencia first team, it doesn't make him rubbish. Valencia are a champions league side who finished 3rd behind barca & madrid, QPR will be battling relegation more then likely.

Watching the video posted of him would be a cracking player for us, He has pace, he has composure in front of goal and he damn well knows were the goal is. for £3m i would prefer him to any other forward we have been linked with tbh and would be cheaper, yes jay bothroyd is a free but wages are massive for someone of his level
