well surely if a team like Doncaster is in with a shout, we havea chance? Still not convinced hes the answer though - although wouldnt complain if we signed him - at least it would show we are trying to sign players who are a getting a name for themselves

I don't think he is the answer, if we are going splash the cash on a young forward I would prefer Cox. However, I would like us to look at young CCC strikers who have found the net like McGoldrick, Priskin or even Tommy Smith.

Cox has only scored well in one season Beckford has a couple of good seasons under his belt.

A young centre forward in the CCC....hmm how about Dexter Blackstock who scored 14 goals this season did not start in every game, and had to play in a formation with one upfront.

Real shame we are selling one of the more promising young forwards in the division.
