Wasn't Bullard on about 40k a week with Hull? He must have decided to take a major pay cut if he was to join us

To be honest, know it will be next 48 hours.

Just not 100% on the player.

The reason I say Bullard is that he is/was the most advanced stage of negiotiations, last i heard.

So it is possible it could be Boothroyd, but doubt it

You're getting hopes up again - should thread therefore be locked as you've previously suggested?

Wd be very happy with Bullard - as long as he passes a rigorous medical. Much better than Ambrose IMHO with bags of Premiership experience and a real character - which we will need when we get beaten 4-0 at Old Trafford.

In fairness to Pete at least this time he is not saying "nailed on" or even naming the player. To know something is at least at a v advanced stage is a step forward.

Bullard would be the ideal loan IMO, about 1 season left at top level.

Jimmy Bullard is a superb footballer, and would be a great person to have around any football club.
I'd be delighted if we signed him.

To be fair, there was no sign of his fitness being a problem at Ipswich last season. I think he played from january til may with no issues.

Doesn't have a date but has him as an R and Fee paid.

Don't know how reliable this is.

Could be Graham! He has a house near Harlington.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.
