          Oh dear. One season wonder, very average player. He is at his level now, if we're getting anyone from palace I'd have Zaha + Clyne.

                Inevitable I suppose. Pete said Bullard was "nailed on". Ambrose would have been a good signing a year ago, now very depressing.

                Just as we were scornful of Norwich signing Vaughan and Morrisson bet they will hardly be quaking in their boots about Ambrose.

                  He had his chance to join & decided against it.

                    Ambrose = No Routledge, Krancjar
                    Clynne = No Walker
                    Danns = No Bullard, Bowyer, Jenas

                    Cerny re-signing = No Speroni

                    I'm not suggesting any are likely but all the above represent cheaper versions of who we were previously keen on.

                    And speaking of Keane or Chamakh or Sturridge or Bothroyd then Graham then Morrison then Carlton Cole then Gudjohnssen then DJ Campbell then Michael-Smith now Johnson.... I see a pattern here......

                    Is Zaha a striker ?
                    Adam Le Fondre anyone (not you Ted !)

                      Why didn't Neil just stay at palace, add to their squad the players he has brought into us and take them to the prem.
                      At least we wouldn't be paying stupid prem prices if we had stayed in the championship.

                        Absolutely. I think many fans will not welcome him if it happens.
