Not for one minute saying we are going to buy him, but it was only 6 months ago Warnock expressed an interest, only for Redknapp (I think) to say he had a future at Spurs.

Now the news is, he won't be renewing his contract and becomes free agent next month.

Does anyone think its a gamble worth taking?

Had the potential to be better than John Terry. Now he is lucky to last 5 games before injury. I'd sign him but it would depend on his salary. Hall is expensive enough and doesn't play enough. Woodgate would cost three or four times that much.
