You can go up by being v patient and building from the bottom up - Stoke, Burnley, etc - or throwing a certain amount of money at it, as Wolves and Brum did. What you can't do is sack the manager every two minutes and still expect to do it on the cheap. Its one or the other.

You probably can but overpaying average players and rewarding them with very long contracts isn't the way to go about it.

Simple answer is Yes, good football with a fair squad and good attitude will succeed. As others have said Burnley, Stoke, Hull and even Wolves have spent very little.

Depends what you mean by "out of this league". If we spend no money, bad luck with injuries and JM doesn't take off, I fear we could well get oursleves out of this league.......
