Pete in that case I'm afraid you are as clueless as the club. Don't you see that the fanbase have zero trust left in the board. They don't believe you or the spin. Until they see that at least one decent player has been signed they have no faith that anything much will be done to improve the squad. The latest report today stating Warno was furious funds were not released to buy Graham only adds to the concerns which you have also expressed that the board is not properly backing Warnock.
Until that "star" signing is announced - dont' think anyone cares too much whether they start training this week or next - virtually no one will renew.
Rather than spouting propaganda you would do the club more of a service if you relayed that message to them.

Its become very difficult when ever word I write is scrutinised, but my point was that Swansea came in one million over the top of what we offered.

Don't ever remember specifically saying NW did not want to pay it, but its quite logical that 3.5 million was a bit OTT

On the basis 20,000ish have renewed at Norwich and 16,000ish have renewed at Swansea, are you saying we are doing well on our renewals ?

Whether I have an apt user name or not is not relevant, whether that is my name or not is not relevant. What is relevant is that you use this board as a propaganda tool for the club, spouting BS as often as you are told to do so, which frankly has got to the stage where people are wearing so thin. This MB might actually be half decent if it was shown to be TRUELY independent of the club. And just for the record, not all player contracts end on 30th June. For example, Danny Shittu was given a three month contract by Millwall which finished on 31st January. Players are being signed by clubs at this moment, the fact that the paperwork might be post dated is totally irrelevant and even you cannot be that stupid not to realise that, although I do wonder?

Because the day before happens to be deadline day for existing ST holders to renew, don't worry everybody, it is all because of July 1st, we will then announce (put in relevant numbers of fictional signings), and you will all see that the exorbitant amount we are now charging you will have been worth it!
