i think warnock is the reason, listen i think they have made load of mistakes but its down to bernie that we got up , they have funded it , the mittals havent , out the 40 mill of loans over 30 mill of it from him and flavio , but just to your point about the boxes we had some of the richest people in the coutry taking those boxes out for entertainment last year, i know for a fact that one of them taken out by one of the biggets private euity fund sout there, mate the people in there have some serious dosh and like isaid with out that side of it we would be fkd as hardly generate anything through matchday tickets relative to our matchday incomeComment

You speak a lot of sense.
I fully understand a lot of the misgivings on here about ST prices, an apparently thrifty transfer budget, the risk of Tango meddling with the team, Cash being a Chelsea fan, the prawn sarnie brigade arriving en mass, etc, etc.... But what the hell... We can't have our cake and eat it. And I fear that if we did, we'd end up like Portsmouth for example.

Its fair enough to encourage the corporate side and spend large amounts, but not at the expence of fans who are the lifeblood of the club, without them there would be no promotion, no coporate brigade, nothing.
