That the Graham transfer is a case of either Nw felt 3.5 was to much for the player or we matched the offer but the player chose Swansea.
Because if it's a case of the board not backing again I think there may be trouble ahead !!
If you ask me the player chose Swansea with a lot of people Probaly told him how good Rodgers is to work with.

No offence to Swansea but why would anyone who wasn't Welsh - particularly a young footballer who no doubt enjoys the odd roasting party - choose to go to a small club in the middle of nowhere iIN WALES without our history or our championship winning performance last season or billionaire owners or our capital location? By far the most likely explanation is we didn't offer enough money. Don't believe for a minute we matched the £3.5m offer. Think the fact Graham was at Watford where Rodgers worked with a lot of the players there they always had the advantage imo

I could understand NW not wanting to spend more than he thinks he is worth. He is not guaranteed to score loads of goals in the prem as he is untested in the top league. Time will tell, but I trust NW.
