I'm sure we are looking at more than 11 players because as we all know transfers and other targets fall through etc

bougherra is a very good player-would be a top signing if true. have had issues about bullards fitness but is quality when fit. keane is still a good player who is still lively just don't look for 15 odd goals out of him in a season-would make the grade with us (hulse anyone???). goals in dj......naughton sounds like a great buy. we are not too far off the mark with our midfield so strikers/defense is where we need to strenthen-would look a whole lot better with those players.......if true!!!!

Don't agree with the highlighted line, but pretty much the rest OK

you could be right bob....has played at a very high level-great international career. i find that he has a cple of purple patches in a season but has had long lean spells also-clever team player who assists well also-good buy.

Wasn't questioning the possible signing of Keane, you're right, blows hot and cold, think if he does sign, we may be pleasantly surprised.

Bougherra great player & the kind of defender we will need.
agreed, bullard is a fighter, yes, he's crocked, but I will take him anyday.
I hope we get bougherra, too, if there's one thing Sir Neil understands, it's defence. West ham and blackpool both went down playing attactive football while not caring about defence.

Seems odd that a deal for Bullard is "done" but that we'll wait another 2 days to announce??

So the Naughton deal is 'worth 2.5 million.' Oh dear, here we go again like the Faulrin deal!

My Ipswich mate said Bullard was absolute class for them and it was obvious he was premiership quality and too good for them. He also said he played in most games and his knee was fine, missed a few games but that was just the normal knocks players get.

If we can get him on a decent wage then he'd be great for us. I assume the one year loan is just in case he breaks down so we can send him back, which seems sensible. I think Hull had him on £40k a week, surely £25k a week from us would be enough for Hull to ship him out.

Hammersmith wouldn't be surprised if naught on is that kind of dosh!

Remember we couldnt afford him last year and we paid decent dose last year
