Maybe we felt that £3.5m was too much for someone with no experience at the top level, and MAYBE they are right?

In my opinion Klose is worth a CHEEKY offer, so don't see what is hilarious in that. He sat on Bayern's bench all year, and they had a crap season anyway, so wasn't like he was being kept out by serious quality. He might want a crack in England before he gets too old.

That is likely to be the case, but German clubs don't pay as highly as english, spanish and italian, so why not test the water?
