and matt upson was shown round last week also it sounds like we are going to use real madrid again for some of their youngsters!!

plus the robert pires deal might be back on!!

I'm not being funny, but I thought that Parejo had the ability, but was just playing in the wrong league. He could hack the physical nature of the Championship, and its a physically tougher league than the Prem. Technically he was good, but he was playing with poor players as well. I bet he would look a lot better playing alongside the likes of Taarabt and Faurlin. However if we are to get any players from Real Madrid then that Sergio Canales would be a good player to have

Parejo would play passes that most decent players would have read or reached, but not the crap he had as teammates. Di Carmine, Agyemang, Ephriam etc.

He has played well for Getafe in La Liga for two seasons now.

His problem was he was too lightweight for the Championship. He may also struggle to adapt to the Premier league, but it is less physical, so who knows.

Having close ties with Madrid can not be a bad thing. They will have some good young players.

If we sign Pires - we are making a bold statement to the rest of the Premier League. That we intend to go straight back down and donate most clubs 6 points this year.
