As others have said all signings are a gamble. If he or anyone else scores the goals to keep us up then they are worth the fee. If not then people will say not worth the money.

Good player untested in that division could succeed like Fuller did for Stoke when they went up but could flop like Scotland or SEB.

Routledge has never scored a Prem goal in 100 games. He could get 10 for us next season. Or sign for someone else, and get bombed out, again.

You never know how they will do.
A lot depends on "Right club - Right time".

Yes deffo, his movement is very good and the lad can finish better than Scotland and Blake imo.

i genuinely think if Carlton Cole joins a club with a manager who kicks him up the ass and in a team that plays a bit that suits him more, he will score 20-25 goals.

Its all bout the club, somtimes it clicks sometimes it doesnt..

Definitely with C Cole, he has all the attributes, should be playing for England to, but attitude is P poor or seems to be.

I don't even think he is worth 2 million, but Warnock rates him highly.

I guess it will test the boards mettle to see if we match Swansea's bid. Deal definitely NOT dead in the water, but they have definitely upped the stakes.

Walters was a QPR player until the last moment last season and we might lose him (notice the word might), but we have better strikers who want to come to us, in my opinion.

Pete, Pete, Pete there you go again "Walters was a QPR player".

No he wasn't - until a player signs on the dotted line they are not our player.

Its quite simple - what don't you get about that?

Well Gianni reckons £3.5 mil will do it (as far as we're concerned anyway), rumour has it he will be paying only £600k though.

£3m for a goal scoring target man with a bit of pace and a good touch under 26 is a ****ing steal.
