This will be a good test of the board's ambitions for the team next season.

If we fail to compete in the transfer market against the likes of Swansea, Norwich, then it won't bode well, because if we cannot compete against them for players, who can we compete against in the premier league.

i wouldnt be surprised if we dont sign anyone at all, loans at most. I know its early days, but when they said somehting like "we wont sell our best players" i think that pretty much meant - we will keep our good players, meaning we wont sign anyone. I dont think they know anything about football, or care whatsoever. All i know is if we dont strengthen (plus Routledge isnt ours yet) - then we will get demolished, possibly worst points tally ever
