as much as we dont like it he wont leave as no club will match that salary and hes not going to take a paycut to help rangers is he. this is where the player needs to work out wht=ether he sits for a year prob sent on loan so will play anyway and finds a new club next year when his contract runs out and hes just trousered a cool million in salary (as dont forget he will have apromotion clause in there, hope not matched to top earner at club mind) lets all think about what we would do.............................

If i was serious about my football,YES,wouldnt want to rot in the reserves(then again he wont even be picked for them),but ROWAN Vine(sorry just noticed thread title)probably knows he wont get a place anywhere,not even in a league 1 team.

but the way he is now he'd be lucky to earn a hundred quid a game playing for some non-league club. its that or 20 big ones a week for doing nothing. maybe it does show a lack of self-respect but he prob reckons he is pretty well finished anyway. think a lot wd do the same.

i think thats the point stainrod, legs went cos he was confident he could play footie to a level, vine knows hes no better then league 1 and therefore what a 2-3 k a week, this mill hell earn this next season sets him up for the following couple of years
