Am sure most of you are top blokes. But that does not mean i want to pay each week to see you get rings run round you in the Premiership. This level you need better players than Ramage in defence if you are to compete.

If you love Cook, Rowlands and Ramage etc and think they should play every week because they " Love QPR and are top blokes " then i suggest you go out and buy the game Football manager 2011 where you can play them every week

But this is the Premiership. Sentiment has to be replaced by the best players available to the club.

Totally agree. Too many on here love a good bloke but forget that they actually need to be good at football. Damage is not good enough for the Prem hence why Newcastle got rid of him.

We are paying similar money as fans of Chelsea and Spurs fans do to watch Premier league football and people think Peter Ramage is viable, which I find unbelievable. Blackpool who had some shocking defenders like Ian Evatt, had prices which reflected the players they had and if QPR were sensible in the prices, no one would moan about people like Ramage, but as they have raised the cost of my St's by 40+%, I want 40+% better players, not the same.

Typical press angle - "despite not starting once last season" - suggesting that was because he was unfancied by Warnock. If I recall, Ramage put in some really solid performances at centre back towards the end of the previous season and Warnock was "pleasantly surprised". The fact he could not walk without crutches until the last month of the season is obviously not relevant to the Mirror Journo.
