The thing is, as Isleworth said, they are affiliated to the football club, and are not "political" in what they do. That is why the LSA was formed in the first place, for independence. The most we could hope for from the OSC would be a letter saying members are miffed. Would be ignored by the club, as will any such communication from the LSA, QPR 1st etc
As regards boycotting merchandise, catering in the ground, fine but I started doing that 30 years ago because most of it is over-priced rubbish! People wouldn't all join in anyway, and wouldn't with a match boycott either.
The only way as I see it is protesting publically like the anti-Briatore protest in SAR a couple of years ago-so long as it is peaceful. That, and what is being done already in contacting the media-I have seen an awful lot in the papers and on broadcast media about the disgraceful hike in prices, we need to keep that going.
This mate is what I'm thinking.

BUT, forcing an EGM, would also create PR - I'm sure we could get a shed load of local press and indeed national press involved. Indeed, (from my squatting at Gut Ritchies gaff episode) BBC London owe me one and I could probably get a crew down to cover it.

      Dear Secretary,

We, the undersigned wish to use our rights as members of the official supporters club under section 3.8 of the Official Supporters Club manadate to call an extraordinary meeting.

The purpose of the meeting would be to discuss the extortionate increase in ticket prices that we feel are unjustified and unfair on the loyal supporters of the club.

We also would like to discuss recent events around the sale of the club and public statements that have been made by shareholders, and are concerned that the Official Supporters Club do not appear to be meeting regularly or meeting with other supporters groups which are also in the Official Supporters Club's mandate as follows:

3.1 The Committee shall meet at such time or times as the Committee shall
determine, but at a minimum would aim to meet at least once a month

3.2 It is envisaged to hold regular meetings with Supporters’ Groups, at a minimum
      on a bi-monthly basis

It is deemed that for the above reasons that a meeting be called as soon as possible, with an appropriate representative from the club in attendance. Please feel free to respond to this letter through the official website or through any of the recognised supporters groups, publicising details of the meeting to all members of the Official Supporters Club who would all have the right to attend.

      Yours Sincerely

How does that letter look? Would you all be happy to PM me or whatever with your name and membership no to add to it? Also, who is the OSC secretary to address it to?

spelling mistake aside ;) reads perfect mate. The official website has basically not been updated since Pat retired. Simply the contact details are an e-mail which is qprosc@yahoo.co.uk

Stick it on Facebook - -there are several pages which have been set up about this and if all those people shared it, it would reach a lot of fans.

Is an online link for people to download, forward etc etc the letter. Only takes 30 members to do it and well..we're sorted. If others can spread that around FB, forward to friends etc etc. Hopefully others from other groups and messageboards will take this on (better that it comes from all rather than just one or two people)
