Obviously thinks he's ready for the Prem otherwise why is he leaving Peterborogh? We've again been linked with him but I feel we should be looking for better.Why people keep saying the likes of Crouch and Keane are beyond us is beyond me.We are now a Prem team and should be competing with other Prem teams for the signatures of Prem quality players.

I think he is actually out of contract, so wouldn't cost us anything. Would be worth a punt, but the step from league 1 to Prem is pretty steep, Beckford hasn't really made a successful transition.

Exactly.
We're going to be paying through the nose to watch our football at Loftus Rd, and with every other premier league club having a cheaper ticket than us, we are well within our rights to demand a better quality product.
I'm damned if I'm paying all that money just to watch other teams who have invested in their squads, really invested, come to Loftus Rd and tank all over us. Uh, uh, no way.

Think there's a misunderstanding here. Any sane fan would like Crouch etc. Think what is meant is there is no way our board will dip into their pockets to buy players like that. But for our present position think a player like the Peterborough lad is a complete waste of time.

Another thing, now that QPR supporters are paying more than they ever did, EVER, QPR will be recording record gate reciepts, several times, over the course of next season.
Another reason why there should be sufficient proven premiership quality in our squad come the start of the season.

as well as recording record gate reciepts several times over, during the course of 2011/12, there's the small matter of some £40-50million coming into the club just for doing diddly squat.

Peterborough chairman said on sky sports that Craig MS will leave this summer and top championship sides a Premier League said want to sign him.

Sadly he said it's down to a bidding war now and that doesn't look that great for us imo
