one is a season long loan from Spurs and we are hoping to get in a defender from Spurs too, though Newcastle United are also leading the chase.

Not signed from Italian club, but think Jim will take a look at him in July.

Other striker will supposedly score 20-25 goals next season, haven't been told his name. A good thing, as if he scores that many other club will note our interest. So best to keep quiet.

PETE - Got to say why oh why have you named the clubs of the players that we are after. C'mon fella keep it stum in case it causes problems! I know that may sound a little OTT but naming the clubs of players we are after can have detrimental effects. You could have left it at the player’s position and London Premiership club!

In fairness, It's hardly a secret that we're looking at Spurs for loanees.
Been pretty obvious with names like Gunter and Taraabt being thrown around for the last 6 weeks.

Pete - what's the latest on a few big earners leaving to free up the wage bill ?

Only 3/4 players that could leave are Legs, Blackstock, Camp & Delaney. If Pratley comes then I expect Legs to go. We did recieve an enquiry for 'One Size' from an un-named Championship club, but doubt anything will come of that until August as I can see that being a 3month loan if they fail to sign a different centre half.

Gunter, it seems, is being widely reported as going to Florist - a quote I read this morning from the player himself even suggested this. Something like - I loved my time there (NFFC) last year and am looking forward to going back.

Possibly, if we do get Gorman as assistant, a relationship with Spurs may develop further than it seems it already has, given his links with them?

Well if we are after Prately then that may suggest that maybe leightwood, buzsaky or lopez could be on their way out, as I would not see the point of having 7 midfield players with only 2 places available on match day.
