    Gary Hooper.. now Danny Graham...

I can't remember the exact timing or sequence of events but it all seems to have gone quiet on the Danny Graham front and I would be prepared to wager that we won't sign him and will end up with some has beens ala James Beatie...

Turn the clock back a year or so and we were supposed to have put in a bid to buy Garry Hooper which was subsequently denied by the Scunny chairman... we ended up with dross such as Leon Clarke and Rob Hulse....

Anyone see a correlation or pattern here?? Put out some juicy gossip when it's time to renew ST's....

We should be going for strikers such as DG, Nicky Maynard and or Shane long if Reading lose on Mon...

I suggested a while back that Norwich would start buying quality players that we would want at LR.. be amazed if this doesn't continue and we will be looking on with envy... anyway maybe all this won't transpire but doubt I'll be too far off the mark....

agree about hooper-a player we royally fc uked up on....honestly believe he has that instinct in be in the right place at the right time and would cut it in the prem-if we'd got him at that time he'd be primed nicely. we are a more of an attraction now and the ball is purely in the court of our "owners".......if we pay decent wages and neil is given a fair crack at the whip concerning funds then long(if reading fail) and graham should be reasonable level we should be aiming for. in neil we trust......if he's let do his job!!!!!

Graham is a qpr player, fact!
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

You would think the club would announce it if graham has signed, just to try and detract from the bad pr their getting.
              They seek him here.................

I respect and have no doubt you're " ITK " but if you're wrong that will be a classic joke like the bus.

                  But I do believe you
                  Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                  And many more mistakes

I wish I could share you're confidence and very much hope you are right as he will be a huge improvement on what we already have..

personally I would prefer Maynard or Long but there you go....

If its all done and dusted, why can't we release a statement like Norwich did re Vaughn ?

He may be in the sense that he or his agent have said yes but until he signs those papers he is not, holidays or no holidays. Many a player has changed their minds before signing the contract because their agent has got a better offer or the club is perceived to be a bigger club.
