3000 Travelling R's

Just had a look at some of the Premier league grounds and the majority have an allocation of about 3000 for away fans.

We took an average of about 1500 to away games last season, so hopefully there'll be plenty of tickets available (apart from the big games).

For me; away games now look even more attractive considering the new pricing structure at LR.

Reallistically; how many R's will be travelling away next season ?

Lets hope you're right, however I look back at games like Reading away when we only took 2'400 with 4'500 tickets available - apart from the London derby matches and Man U & Liverpool games - will the Premiership really make that much of a difference to our travelling support ?

What a season defining game that was, carnage in the away end when Routledge tucked that goal away..

Great game and showed we had real bottle.

Played some lovely football and with 10men we outplayed there 11.

Great game and great atmoshpere. It'll be good if the Fake Hoops go up as I always enjoy the short trip to the Madejski.

Would hope to fill up the away end next season (if its not being shown live on SKY)

A lot is to do with how the fixtures fall......if we get Bolton or Stoke the last Saturday before xmas I doubt we would sell out....

Yeah but probably at least 5 of our away games will be on telly. I can't see us taking hoardes to some of the dreary Northern stadia for televised and/or midweek games.
Out turnout at Ewood in the FA Cup was poor (6/700?) for a Saturday 3pm kick-off with cheap-ish admission - why would 2000+ more suddenly appear at normal prices and an inconvenient kick-off time?

May do if it's on a weekend - South Shields = one of the best places for a lad's trip, loads of cheap B&B's, plenty of night life and some very willing/canny women out and about
