Added to the fact that between them they have how much Premiership experience? How much experience playing in a top top league? I know our current back four doesn't have either but at least they've played together and have an understanding.

changed the whole squad near enough and what happened we got off to a flying start and won the league dont be a pair of melts...we need a new back 4!

i think we will see one of our cb's in our starting 11 next year who played last year, whether that's hall gorkks or connolly i dont know. Then i think we will see a new cb who has some premiership experience and two new nippy full backs!!!

Not sure what a melt is but hey.

Gorkss and Connolly had two years experience of playing with each other. Orr and Hill had had years of playing in the Championship. All of our back 4 had experience at the level they were playing in. The four you suggest are decent players but none of them have the experience at the top level.

I'm not saying we don't need a new back four but we do need understanding and experience. There is a thread about Liam Ridgewell who played in a Birmingham side who were relegated through lack of goals and not because of their defence. He would be the sort of player we should be going for. London lad with bags of experience.

Oxhey your back 4 suggestion is pony mate. you have chosen Naughton and Bougherra because of a few press snippets. leave it to the experts

It might but it also might get slaughtered because of the lack of experience. Naughton will be a very good player. Wendt is highly unlikely because a number of top teams have been linked with him including Spurs and Liverpool. MB is staying at Rangers now they have qualified for the CL next year and Williams would only come if Swansea don't win promotion.
