I dont see an issue - fair ST price and so what Amit's gone?

Too be honest when I drafted it I knew it would cause stir......

but I have waited for 15 years (been a ST holder for 23 years) to watch us back in the Premier League and cant be bothered to be moan about prices.... so I would prefer to remain positive and think of the things I have been waiting for, for 15 years! Afterall we may be relegated this time next year.

This should be a time of celebration - so I will enjoy the summer and not let prices get in the way of that.... end of the day nothing we can do!

Re Amit - I do not think this is the last we will hear of him and Mittal!
I am convinced this is a negotiating tactic by the Mittal.... in his statement he said the mittals will not sell their stake, so says to bernie and flav I have stepped down but we are not going away! Secondly he announces the mittals we in talks about buying the club...... do you think mittals like to admit defeat? I think not, so why announce it.... thirdly stepping down now gives a great PR message that the mittals love the club but disagree with the ST prices......... if they do acquire the club then the fans will see them to be the saviour and not the devil who were part of the ST price increase.

Are bernie and flav that bad? bernie is a bit of joker i think when interviewed! I really take his negative comments with a pinch of salt! Flav.... well maybe he has learnt from his mistakes of before... warnock seems to speak highly of him.... dont forget flav had never been involved with football before joining us...

I am waiting to see how this develops before I make an emotional abuse statement about them!

PS why are the mittals loved by the fans.... what have they done during their time at qpr?

PPS everyone says qpr was the fans club..... when was qpr ever owned by the fans? if they fans want to own the club.... all you need to do is arrange a balance transfer of £100m to bernie and co ... simple

PPS if you do make that £100m transfer.... please ensure you have £1b in your bank account as the fans expect tickets to be priced under £20 per game, £50m transfer kitty, no wage cap, and for the players to meet and greet before and after each game.

I didn't buy a season ticket because:
when my son was born during the 2005-06 season I resolved that would be my last season ticket for a while because spending chunks of that many weekends not watching him grow up didn't feel right[/LIST]nothing about the few seasons before the last one had made me change my mind about that

Then, of course, we started winning and winning and I couldn't stay away. I know plenty of other who did/felt the same.

I didn't buy a half season ticket 'cos they sold out too fast

So I'd resolved to buy a season ticket for next season and will still do so if possible, because I don't think they are too bad a deal. My anger is NOT about season ticket prices. But I think I've understood that the number of season tickets available next season is as follows:

the number sold last season + a few hundred more

I also gather that the few hundred more will be available to a few thousand members. So, chances are, I won't be able to get one. So, to rock up to games without a season ticket and to sit near my dad and other people I know (V block), I will be expected to fork out almost £60. I could actually afford it. I'm fortunate enough to earn a fair bit more than average. However, my gut feeling is that just because I COULD afford such prices does not mean that I WILL choose to pay up. A 90% rise is just not on.

I've had periods of having a season ticket for consecutive years and periods of going to LR quite infrequently (e.g. when living abroad for 4 years). Overall, though, I think I've been an above averagely loyal QPR supporter, following in the footsteps of my dad, granddad and great granddad. Today I feel the club has taken the **** one time too many and I feel a bit silly for having got my now 5 year old boy so hyped up about going to see the Rs play in the Premier League with me next season.

Hopefully you can get you and your son a season ticket! May be worth paying a visit to Loftus Road box office and explain the situation to them. Sometimes they can be really helpful and turn a blind eye, with your history and loyalty points... you never know you might get lucky!

Though is a great place when the atmosphere kicks ala oldham, leicester when miller scored, cardiff when adel scored.... happy memories......

time to move on to a new ground though.... welcome the day when we have a new stadium....... i have sat in the same row for 23 years where our row doubles up as an aisle so we are up and down like yoyo's!
